Terms of Service — Draft

We're drafting formal Terms of Service with legal review. In the meantime, this page captures the data-handling commitments we stand behind today. By checking the Terms box at registration, you agree to these commitments and to the formal Terms of Service when published.

1. Your data belongs to you

Course Setup is a system of record for your operational data — the products you apply, the courses you maintain, the team you manage. You can export it at any time. We don't claim ownership of what you enter.

2. We don't sell or share your data with third parties

Specifically, your operational data is not sold or shared with:

• Government agencies
• Fertilizer or chemical companies
• Product distributors
• Other golf courses (your records are visible only to you and the team members you grant access to)
• Management or operations companies — including but not limited to Troon Golf and Kemper Sports

Anonymized aggregate sharing among Course Setup users to enable peer benchmarking is a planned future feature. Its participation model and privacy guarantees will be defined in the formal Terms when that feature is published.

3. When aggregate sharing is implemented, it will never identify individual properties

When the planned peer-benchmarking feature is published, course names, user names, property addresses, and per-tenant attribution will be stripped before aggregation. Statistical outputs across multiple properties will be designed so that no single property's data can be reverse-identified from the result. These standards will be formalized in the legally-reviewed Terms of Service that accompany the feature.

4. Binding until formal Terms are published

These commitments are binding until our legally-reviewed Terms of Service are published. The formal document will replace this placeholder while preserving the commitments above.
